THE LIBERATION OF SOUND will then also be listed at NAXOS VIDEO LIBRARY. That is a new streaming service of the well-known label NAXOS. Especially professional institutions, Music-Universities etc. are the subscribers.

2009

In February the video shooting about Verena Rein (started in 2008) was continued. The shooting took place at Deutschlandradio Kultur (studio "Siemensvilla" Berlin) during a CD recording with the soprano and pianist Jascha Nemtsov.

2008

In the end of August Rollingstudio Berlin made a video shooting about Verena Rein and her work. The location was Universität der Künste Berlin (University of Arts).
The outstanding voice techniques, the soprano stands for, as well as interpretation and acting in classical singing were the main themes.
During the fall, there are going to be more shootings at different locations in Berlin. Rollingstudio is going to film sequences about Verena's artistic work, there will also be interviews and a feature.
The film will come out in 2009. More information ist coming soon.

2007

Verena's solo recital as part of the Festival of Lyrical Art in the year of the European Capital of Culture Sibiu (Romania) 2007 taking place at the Sibiu Philharmonics, was filmed by the Bucharest television. On August 15, 2007 the Bucharest-based television station TVR Cultural broadcast a wide range of highlights from Verena Rein's recital accompanied by Axel Bauni and the Romanian Brukenthal Quartet.

2005

The German RBB Fernsehen/television broadcast a documentary featuring Verena Rein and her presentation of "Marienliedern" from different epoques on the occasion of the exhibition opening Maria Königin der Polen/Maria queen of the Polish (Staatliche Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz Berlin, Klosterstift zum Heiligengrabe).

2003

The German NDR Fernsehen/television broadcast highlights of Verena Rein's highly acclaimed concert English Mad Songs and Ayres as part of the Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival in Wotersen.

1998

TV Krakau Polen/Poland broadcast a part pf Verena's lieder recital as part of the International Szymanowski Music Days.

The German RBB Fernsehen/television presented a film, showing the rehearsals on La Traviata/Verdi with Verena Rein in the main role (Violetta).
